For Your Son our Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, accept my repentance, and make it sincere.
Sanctify my body, soul, and spirit; examine my mind, and search out my conscience.
Take from me all evil imaginations, all impurity of thought, all inclinations to lust, all deformity of conception, all pride and hypocrisy; all falsehood, deceit, and irregular living; all covetousness, vain-glory, and sloth; all envy, hatred, and malice; all remembrance of injuries, all blasphemy, and every motion of flesh and spirit, which is contrary to the purity of Your will.
And grant, O Lord, that I may boldly and without blame, with a pure heart and a humble mind, without shame and confusion, and with sanctified lips, I call upon You, my God and heavenly Father, and say : Our Father which art in heaven.
Hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done in earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive them that trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever.
