O LORD, I come to this time of prayer upon Your will and command, bringing all my petitions, even those very things that hinder and would prevent my coming to You —my sins that trouble me greatly, and I ask You to remove and forgive them. Amen.

For True Worthiness in Prayer

O LORD, I come to You in humble prayer for Your honor and Your service, which tends to Your praise. Therefore, O dear Lord, do not look upon my unworthiness, but upon my great need of Your help: You are the true and only help of sinners. It is my hearts desire that Your honor is to be advanced by my prayer. I cannot pray without Your aid, so Lord I stand in faith trusting You that You will give me the help I need. For You have promised that You will give to those who ask You. Amen.

LET the prayers of Your suppliants, 0 Lord, come up to the ears of Your mercy; that we may obtain what we ask, make us ever to ask what pleases You; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
