It is You, O God, that has commanded the morning and caused the day-spring to know its place, that it might take hold of the ends of the earth, and it is turned as clay to the seal. Job 38:12-14(KJV)

The day is Yours, the night also is Yours; You have prepared the light and the sun. Psalm 74:16(KJV)

With the light of the morning, let the day-spring from on high visit me, to give me the knowledge of salvation through the tender mercies of my God. Luke 1:77-78(KJV) Let the Sun of righteousness arise upon my soul with healing under His wings. Malachi 4:2(KJV) Make my path be as the shining light, which shines more and more to the perfect day. It is of Your mercy, O Lord, that I am not consumed, even because Your compassions fail not; they are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness: Lamentations 3:22-23(KJV) and if weeping sometimes endures for a night, joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5(KJV)

I thank You that I have laid me down, Psalm 3:5(KJV) have had a place to lay my head, Matthew 8:20(KJV) and have not been wandering in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth; Hebrews 11:38(KJV) and that I have slept, and have not been full of tossing to and fro till the dawning of the day. That wearisome nights are not appointed to me, and I am not saying at my lying down, When shall I arise, and the night be gone? Job 7:3-4(KJV) But my bed comforts me, and my couch eases my complaints. But I say with Your servant David, that when I awake I am still with You, Psalm 139:18(KJV) my eyes have seen the night-watches, that I might meditate on Your word. Psalm 119:148(KJV) For those vain thoughts that are still lodge within me. Jeremiah 4:14(KJV) O Lord, pardon my sins 1 Samuel 15:25(KJV) and cause me to hear Your loving-kindness this morning, for in You do I trust; cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my souls to You. Psalm 143:8(KJV) Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. Your Spirit is good, lead me into the way and land of uprightness. Psalm 143:10(KJV)

Now, let the Lord preserve and keep me from all evil this day, yes, Lord preserve my soul. Lord, preserve my going out and coming in; Psalm 121:7-8(KJV) give Your angels charge concerning me, to bear me up in their hands and keep me in all my ways. Psalm 91:11-12(KJV) Give me grace to do the work of the day in its day, as the duty of the day requires. Ezra 3:4(KJV)
