Arise, dear soul, and carefully reflect who He is with whom you speak and before whom you stand when you pray. Behold, you speak with God, your Maker, and stand in the presence of Him, the Eternal Majesty, whom thousand times thousands of holy angels and arch angels attend.
Therefore, O Christian, enter into the closet of your soul, and beware, lest you fail to put from you all sluggishness of heart, and lift up to your God a countenance free from blame. Then will you delight in the Lord and have power with Him, and prevail. Yea, you will conquer the unconquerable with God and bear away the blessing through Jesus Christ. Amen. — By John Habermann
